The original Little Nightmares had an overall theme of greed, while Little Nightmares 2 deals mostly with the overall theme of escapism - fitting beautifully with the real life idea of how we attach escapism to TV (modernly, YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, etc).
It is an excellent demonstration of the horror sequel, and even if you are on the fence about it, I think this will persuade you. The demo doesn't give too much away, and is set in The Wilderness Six and Mono must outsmart The Hunter, and find a way for them to safely escape.

It's great to see Little Nightmares 2 follow the trend of free next-gen upgrades, and it will also be interesting to see what the title will able to do on Xbox Series X/PS5. The Xbox Series X and PS5 versions will only be arriving later this year, however, those who cannot wait to experience this sequel will be able to secure free current-gen upgrades on both Xbox Series X and PS5. Little Nightmares 2 will launch on the 11th of February for last-gen consoles (Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch), as well as PC. Six is still in the picture, although we aren't sure what her role in the sequel will be, but we do know that Six and Mono must work together to escape the craziness of the Pale City.
